2. Age Restriction & Lawful Use

As of 1st September 2024, it is illegal to sell knives to anyone under the age of 18yrs old. Because of this we need to verify your age and that you are 18 years of age or older before completing this purchase.   • Legal Compliance: It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that the item they are buying is legal to possess in their specific State or Territory. XTREME SURVIVAL is not liable for any items seized by authorities due to local regulations.

3. Pricing and Payment

  • Currency: All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • GST: Prices include GST where applicable unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payments via Stripe and PayPal. Orders will not be dispatched until full payment has been cleared.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Dispatch: We aim to ship orders within 1–2 business days.
  • Shipping Rates: We offer Free Standard Shipping Australia-wide on all orders. Express Shipping is available for a flat rate of $6.99.
  • Service: Deliveries are made via Australia Post or other reputable couriers.
  • Remote Areas: Shipping to certain very remote areas may incur additional surcharges; we will contact you if this applies to your order.

5. Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Products are sold with guarantees that comply with Australian Consumer Law obligations. Customers are entitled to remedies for major or minor failures as outlined in ACL guidelines. Generally, change of mind returns are not accepted.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Intended Use: Survival gear, particularly blades, can be dangerous if misused. XTREME SURVIVAL is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from the use or misuse of products purchased from our store.
  • Third-Party Sales: We are not responsible for any subsequent resale or transfer of products to third parties.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia and the state in which XTREME SURVIVAL operates.

Damaged, Fragile Goods & Return Policy
1. Fragile Items & Transit Damage
We take immense care in securely packing all homewares and decor items. However, if an item arrives damaged or broken due to postal transit, you must notify us via email within 48 hours of delivery. [1]
To process a replacement or refund for a damaged item, you must provide:
  • Clear photos of the broken item.
  • Clear photos of the shipping box/packaging condition.
Failure to report damage within 48 hours of the tracking delivery stamp will void your transit damage claim, as we cannot verify if the damage occurred post-delivery.
2. Return Policy & Change of Mind
  • Change of Mind: We accept returns for change of mind within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is completely unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging. The buyer is responsible for all return postage costs.
  • Original Shipping Fees: Initial shipping charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
  • Exclusions: Custom-made items, sale items, or clearance goods cannot be returned for a change of mind. [1, 2]
